GMOA gets the gold

The Georgia Museum of Art is the third UGA building to become certified by Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), receiving its Gold designation earlier this year. The other two LEED-certified buildings are the Tate Student Center expansion and residence hall Building 1516 on East Campus. LEED is an independent, third-party verification that a project is constructed using strategies and materials that promote sustainable development, water savings, energy efficiency and indoor air quality.
