Fanfare for the Common ManThe University of Georgia Wind Ensemble is just one of the many active music ensembles present on campus. In Fall 2011, conductor John Lynch led the group in recording their newest album, "Street Song," featuring the music of Tilson Thomas, Stravinsky, Copland, Vaughan Williams, Mobberly, Oquin, and Lorenz. In this clip, the UGAWE brass and percussion perform Copland's Fanfare for the Common Man, a 1942 work written by renowned American composer Aaron Copland. "Street Song" is available from Naxos, iTunes, or Amazon.
